This site is developed by Gerald Aungst, a school administrator and gifted curriculum specialist in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He is also the lead designer and webmaster for AllAboutExplorers.com. All About Explorers is a site he developed with several colleagues for the purpose of educating students about being intelligent users of the Internet. It is featured in Alan November’s &catid=20&Itemid=90" target="_blank">list of favorite sites, and the instructional unit my colleagues and I developed was recently published in Toni Buzzeo’s book, &s=books&qid=1226887054&sr=1-4" target="_blank">Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships for K-6 (2nd ed.).
He enjoys reading, cooking, working with computers, playing games, and writing music. He has also recently gotten interested in writing Interactive Fiction, and his first completed work of IF, Recess At Last, placed 15th in the 2008 IF Comp.
He is very active in his church, teaching adult classes from time to time, and coaching small group leaders. He also designs lighting for services and special events, and works on the video projection team for Sunday services.
